{"id":1102,"date":"2026-03-06T11:28:33","date_gmt":"2026-03-06T10:28:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eddart.net\/mostra\/la-misura-invisibile\/"},"modified":"2026-03-20T07:54:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T06:54:18","slug":"la-misura-invisibile","status":"publish","type":"mostra","link":"https:\/\/eddart.net\/en\/mostra\/la-misura-invisibile\/","title":{"rendered":"Giuseppe Pietroniro &#8211; La misura invisibile"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>EDDart is pleased to present The Invisible Measure, an exhibition dedicated to the latest works by Giuseppe Pietroniro (Toronto, 1968), created specifically for the exhibition space based on a reflection on the work of Mario Giacomelli (1925\u20132000).<\/p>\n\n<p>The series of works on paper on display stems from a close observation of Giacomelli\u2019s photographic practice, particularly his landscape images, in which geometric lines \u2014 ploughed fields, tree trunks, aerial views \u2014 structure the space.<\/p>\n\n<p>Since the beginning of his artistic practice, Pietroniro has explored the concept of space, both physical and existential, through installations, sculptures, and two-dimensional works that challenge the perception of reality.<\/p>\n\n<p>In <em>La Misura Invisibile<\/em>, the artist chooses drawing as his sole medium, constructing an imaginary geography in which observation and imagination overlap.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cDrawing is the only trace, the only testimony that tells the world we have been here. With a pencil, I construct an imaginary world made of volumes, time, and duration, without resorting to photography or artificial intelligence,\u201d says Pietroniro.<\/p>\n\n<p>The use of pencils of varying hardness generates landscapes in which planes and volumes intersect, giving shape to a new spatiotemporal dimension, both internal and external at once.<\/p>\n\n<p>Referring to Giacomelli, the artist notes: \u201cHe uses photography, yet he is a truly multidisciplinary artist, capable of working with light and matter to the point of creating actual volumes.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1101,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"powered_cache_disable_cache":false},"categoria-di-mostre":[71,75],"class_list":["post-1102","mostra","type-mostra","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","categoria-di-mostre-71","categoria-di-mostre-featured","description-off"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/eddart.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/mostra\/1102","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/eddart.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/mostra"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/eddart.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/mostra"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/eddart.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1101"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/eddart.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1102"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"categoria-di-mostre","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/eddart.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categoria-di-mostre?post=1102"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
