Eddart – Launching October First, ‘The Cosmic Movie’ at Eddart’s venue in Palazzo Taverna, is a group show of renowned Italian artists themed around the observation of the skies: Carla Accardi, Franco Angeli, Mirella Bentivoglio, Francesca Duscià, Tano Festa, Giosetta Fioroni, Elica Sartogo, Leoncillo and Giulio Turcato.

The Cosmos and its perceived all encompassing structure is artistically reduced to its symbolic elements to evocate personal and universal issues, measure and explain time, motion, surface and, most of all, form.

From Carla Accardi’s abstract acceleration to the Cosmic Egg of Mirella Bentivoglio, to the solid skies of Tano Festa and the merry conquest of space of Giulio Turcato, symbolically exorcising the end of an intense decade. The two contemporary artists in the show, Francesca Duscià and Elica Sartogo, approach the skies by cinematical frames, the former, and different materials, the latter.
